To join the GLBT Business Association you must first meet the criteria for membership which are:
1. To identify as either:
- gay
- lesbian
- bisexual
- intersex or
- transgender
2. To currently, or pre-retirement, either:
- own or manage a business
- operate as a sole trader or self-employed
- be a business, health or other industry professional
- be a certified tradesperson or
- be a professional artist or artisan
3. To live and carry out business within the Canterbury region
Members of the GBA are required to act in good faith and agree to abide by the rules of GBA. They must declare that they will not misrepresent or otherwise put the GBA or its members into disrepute through their actions or those of their representatives.
